The benefits of locating on Centennial Campus go far beyond the prestige of associating with one of the most respected research and educational institutions in the United States. You'll find that University Affiliate Status has big payoffs for your company and your employees. In addition to saving time and transportation costs by having immediate access to NC State faculty, students and facilities, your employees will be welcomed into the NC State family, sharing many of the same benefits and privileges afforded to faculty and students. These privileges, some of which require user fees, are outlined below.
All-Campus Cards:
All permanent employees of companies on Centennial Campus (CC) are entitled to obtain an all-campus card with affiliate designation. The card may be obtained by emailing your name and company to Sue Cross in the CC Partnership Office: 515-7036, sue_cross@ncsu.edu . Sue will forward your information to the all-campus network and within 48 hours you will be able to go to the all-campus network (West Dunn building), on the corner of Dan Allen and West Dunn and have your card made.
Carmichael Gym membership:
All University Affiliates are entitled to join Carmichael Gym for a fee of $180.00/year for an access only membership or $240.00/year for a full service gym membership, which includes use of a locker, gym clothing and towels. To join the gym, you should do the following:
1. Obtain your All Campus Card.
2. Go to the Carmichael Gym, room 2012 to fill out a gym enrollment form and pay the annual fee. Your card will be activated for gym access at that time.
In addition, each university affiliate may purchase an additional membership for a household member over the age of 18. The additional membership is extended at the same low fee and requires proof of same residence (such as lease, driver's license or utility bill). Follow the same procedure for gym membership.
Wolfline Bus Transportation System:
All University Affiliates may use the NCSU Wolfline bus system free of charge. You must present your all-campus card when boarding the bus. Capital Area Transit (CAT) and Triangle Transit Authority (TTA) are partnering with NC State Transportation to bring U-Pass to NC State. Universities all over the country enjoy U-Pass. U-Pass will allow faculty, staff and students the freedom to get to and from campus along with favorite Raleigh destinations, without spending a dime.
