On the Horizon

James B. Hunt Jr. Library

This 200,000-square-foot building will house collections supporting the multidisciplinary research and teaching activities on Centennial Campus in the areas such as science, engineering, information and communication technologies, textiles, advanced materials and biotechnology. The Hunt Library will open in 2012.

Executive Conference Center and Hotel

This planned, privately developed complex will sit across from the Lonnie Poole Golf Course and adjacent to Lake Raleigh.

Apartment Complex

This privately developed complex will feature affordable apartments for rent.

CBC Flex Lab Building

The CBC Flex Lab Building will be located on the Biomedical Centennial Campus property and will provide space for biotechnology and veterinary medicine tenants.

Engineering IV and V

Engineering Buildings IV and V will complete the move of the College of Engineering being entirely located on Centennial Campus.

Student Dorms

Centennial Campus intends to build dormitory facilities to accommodate the increased number of engineering students attending classes.

The Shores Residential – Phase II

More residential units, which should include town home and condominium floor plans, are scheduled to be developed in the near future.
