  • BlueLine Associates Opens Office on Centennial

BlueLine Associates, a New Hampshire-based consulting firm specializing in Lean Six Sigma business process improvement and project management, has opened a new office on Centennial Campus.

The new office will be led by Seth Cotner, BlueLine’s Chief Operating Officer.

“We are excited about being on Centennial Campus,” said Cotner. “Not only does it give us an opportunity to network with other companies and individuals on campus, it also brings us closer to the university’s College of Textiles and its Six Sigma program.”

According to Cotner, the company chose to expand in the Triangle area because of its continued economic growth and its robust manufacturing and service industries.

The company provides a variety of consulting services and specializes in healthcare, information technology, banking/finance and insurance. BlueLine’s Lean Six Sigma business process improvement approach focuses on reducing defects, eliminating waste, improving quality, resulting in increased revenue or decreased expenditures.

BlueLine is partnering with the College of Textiles to provide facilitation, teaching, guidance and training services. In addition, the company has initiated an internship program where NC State students get real-world training in a consulting environment.

“We are delighted to have BlueLine Associates join us on Centennial,” said Dennis Kekas, associate vice chancellor in charge of partnership. “The College of Textiles offers one of the most robust Six Sigma programs in the country, and this just validates the kind of work they’re doing. Their vast network of companies and BlueLine’s singular expertise is a great combination moving forward.”
