• Centennial Partner I-Cubed Acquires Analytics Company

Centennial Campus partner I-Cubed has acquired a Chicago-based supply chain analytics solution provider called Akoya, Inc. The acquisition represents a significant expansion of I-Cubed's product lifecycle management (PLM) related service offerings. The acquisition allows the company to enhance its customers's ability to realize significant savings within their supply chains, especially when integrated with I-Cubed's strengths in PLM, CAD data management and data migration.

"Companies are receptive to targeted solutions that can help them cut costs," said I-Cubed President and CEO, Donald A. Thompson, Jr. "Akoya's PLM analytics capabilities will help drive customer value by extracting actionable insights directly from the native CAD content, enhancing decision making throughout the supply chain."

Akoya analytics technology couples the complex information in the CAD models of engineered parts with purchasing data to provide optimized costing and supply chain information. Its clients include Caterpillar, John Deere, Texton and AGCO.
