  • Centennial Campus Announces New Partner

    Phononic Devices, a startup company commercializing advanced thermoelectric materials designed to dramatically improve the conversion efficiency of waste heat into electric power, cooling, and refrigeration, is the latest company to open an office on Centennial Campus. Combining nanostructured materials that enhance thermopower with thermally insulating semiconductors and a manufacturing-friendly platform, Phononic Devices approach makes possible a more than $125 billion waste heat recovery market opportunity. The company is led by co-founders Anthony Atti, Ph.D. and Patrick McCann, Ph.D.
