Artist Talk: Clarence Heyward

Clarence Heyward is a Brooklyn-born painter and collagist whose work explores notions of the Black American experience. During this artist talk, Heyward will discuss his background, provide an in-depth look into his work, including insight into his practice and processes navigating through the art world and how he makes a living as a full-time artist. Heyward is participating in a one-week intensive artist residency on campus coordinated by Arts NC State.
