Book Launch and Interview With Elizabeth Jones

Go behind the scenes of science and celebrity with Elizabeth Jones, an NC State alumna and author of Ancient DNA: The Making of a Celebrity Science. Jones will talk about her book, which tells the untold story of the rise of a new scientific field and how Jurassic Park and popular media influenced its development. She will also talk with Martha Burford Reiskind about her path from an undergraduate history major to a science historian and author. Copies of Jones’ book will be available for sale. After the presentation, Howling Cow ice cream will be available courtesy of NC State’s Science, Technology and Society program.
