Super Resolution of Residential Load Profiles

The NC State community is invited to attend the FREEDM Technical Webinar. This presentation will review a generative adversarial network-based load profile super-resolution framework for restoring high-frequency components lost through the smoothing effect of the down-sampling process. This method outperforms the traditional mean square error-based super-resolution methods. Improving the load profile super-resolution framework in this way can reduce utility costs while still leveraging the benefits of smart meter measurements.
